Patient Access Representative II Role Overview
The Cambridge Health Alliance Nursing Team provides care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive and evidence-based nursing practice.
The Patient Access Representative II position consists of both administrative/clerical functions in addition to the clinical responsibilities of the medical assistant/CNA. This role is essential to the team, providing the department with the flexibility to meet both clinical and administrative needs, while contributing to the smooth operation by facilitating patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative/clerical functions to support the department
- Assist with clinical responsibilities of the medical assistant/CNA
- Facilitate patient flow to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider
- One year of previous experience as a nursing assistant or currently enrolled in a nursing program with two cycles of clinical rotation or completion of an approved certified nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience as determined by the CNO or designee
