Job Title: Administrative Coordinator II

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a community hospital that cares for a highly diverse population in the Boston metro-north region. As a member of our Medical Specialty team, you will help us care for patients in Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, and Pulmonary Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets departmental visitors and ensures accurate and timely departmental communication.
  • Schedules new and follow-up appointments and coordinates schedules for departmental personnel, interns, and fellows.
  • Registers daily patient visits and performs administrative duties necessary to ensure appropriate billing and reimbursement for services.
  • Performs general secretarial duties in the preparation of departmental correspondence and records.
  • Maintains medical record system and purges inactive medical records according to protocol.
  • Composes, types, files, and maintains records of correspondence, memos, reports, grants, agendas, and minutes of meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school/GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-years of administrative experience in a medical office setting.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google apps.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
