JOB TITLE: Accounting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to enhance our Finance team. In this role, you will be tasked with managing budgeting processes, maintaining financial records, and liaising with external funders to ensure the efficiency of our financial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Manage the grant accounting workflow
  • Implement cash management strategies
  • Supervise payroll operations
  • Generate budget reports and conduct financial audits
  • Formulate accounting policies and procedures
  • Lead the accounting team
  • Assist with month-end financial closings
  • Engage in organization-wide training sessions and meetings
  • Contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Excellent intercultural communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment
