Position Summary:
At IRCO, our mission is to support and empower refugees, immigrants, and diverse communities to achieve their fullest potential. We are in search of a Financial Operations Manager to ensure the organization's financial integrity and excellence. This role involves close collaboration with the Finance team, program leaders, and external stakeholders to facilitate budgeting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Manage grant accounting and liaise with program leaders
  • Oversee cash management processes
  • Supervise payroll operations
  • Prepare budget versus actual reports
  • Update the Accounting Manual as necessary
  • Compile audit documentation
  • Lead the accounting team
  • Execute month-end closing procedures
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in mandatory training sessions
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Support organizational strategic objectives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Familiarity with GAAP standards
  • Proficient in ABILA MIP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated intercultural competence
  • Ability to foster inclusive working relationships
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment
Knowledge Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience required
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Products and ABILA-MIP
