Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate technical strategies for subsurface investigations.
  • Lead project teams in developing and executing multi-disciplinary solutions for soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor remediation initiatives, utilizing both in-situ and ex-situ technologies.
  • Establish work procedures and develop project schedules, budgets, and staffing needs.
  • Oversee the preparation of contract/design drawings, specifications, and bid documents for environmental remediation projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure efficient time management with a focus on detail.
  • Review ongoing remediation efforts to enhance the performance of existing systems or suggest alternative strategies.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives, including proposal development, scope and fee negotiations, and presentations.

This role involves on-site responsibilities with occasional travel to client and project locations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • P.E. designation is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in planning, designing, and executing site investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial actions using environmental engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA regulations, and applicable state regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • A commitment to mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
