Your Role:

As a vital member of our Geoscience Group, you will leverage your expertise throughout all phases of our transformative projects, making meaningful contributions to the environment and our stakeholders. This senior role involves substantial engagement in client relations, project management, and consulting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients and regulatory bodies to communicate findings and devise site strategies.
  • Effectively develop and oversee project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and execute field activities and data collection in line with established protocols.
  • Interpret project-specific data and site geology/hydrogeology to create conceptual site models.
  • Formulate appropriate remedial strategies.
  • Utilize advanced technical writing skills to produce clear, concise, and audience-focused reports.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff in project management and technical areas.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying complexity concurrently.
  • Assist in the formulation of new policies and procedures.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including proposal development and presentations.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of invoices.
  • Engage in external professional organizations.

Work Environment:

This position primarily operates from our office, with occasional travel to client and project sites.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • P.E. and/or P.G. designation is highly preferred.
  • At least 6 years of project management experience in environmental site assessments and remedial action planning.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD/GIS is advantageous.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Efficient time management with a focus on detail.
  • Understanding of relevant environmental regulations is beneficial.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • A commitment to mentoring and coaching developing engineers.
