Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing)
Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our team. This position involves providing design, engineering, and project management services for plumbing and HVAC systems across a diverse array of projects, including commercial facilities, educational institutions, water and wastewater treatment plants, military installations, and infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, specifying, and overseeing the construction of plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Developing and applying industry-standard design practices and departmental guidelines.
- Managing projects from initial concept through to construction for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Collaborating with project teams to integrate mechanical systems with architectural and other engineering elements, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion while meeting client expectations.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Engaging in business development and client relationship management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical system design within the building and construction industry.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
- Proven project management experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration focused on client satisfaction.
- A commitment to fostering a positive work environment and delivering exceptional service to clients.
- Experience with commissioning processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in ASHRAE is preferred.
