Senior Electrical Project Manager

As the Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction operations from the initial bid phase through to project completion, ensuring thorough technical management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This position not only presents a variety of projects but also provides the chance to lead a dedicated team. With a transition in ownership, the company is in search of a seasoned leader to guide their efforts. Key Responsibilities:


Manage contracts from proposal through to completion, ensuring a clear understanding of project scope and accurate pricing estimates while complying with contract stipulations.

Participate in essential job meetings with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and internal team members.
Effectively schedule workforce for ongoing projects, assessing requirements based on costs, project timelines, and schedules.
Oversee budget management, prepare job cost tracking reports, and include change orders as necessary.
Ensure prompt and precise billing, anticipating and incorporating materials and equipment that have not yet been invoiced by suppliers.
Adhere to established procedures for reviewing and submitting timecards for weekly payroll, ensuring approvals from field leaders.
Regularly evaluate cost-to-complete and work-in-progress reports, discussing forecasts and outcomes with field leaders and updating estimates on a monthly basis.

Coordinate change proposals, review pricing and presentations, submit change orders within contract timelines, and monitor change order logs for required actions.

Review and submit operational and maintenance documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy of record drawings, and facilitate timely submissions.

Qualifications:


Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction sector, with additional experience in service and tenant improvements considered advantageous.

A background in electrical apprenticeship, journeyman roles, project foreman, or similar positions is preferred.
Proficient in management, financial analysis, and the MS Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality.
