Senior Electrical Project Manager

As the Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from initial bid preparation to final project closeout, ensuring precise technical management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This position not only offers a variety of projects but also the chance to lead a dedicated team. With an upcoming transition in ownership, the company is looking for a seasoned leader to guide the organization. Key Responsibilities:


• Manage contracts from proposal through to completion, comprehending the scope of work and establishing pricing estimates while complying with contract stipulations.

• Participate in essential job meetings with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Effectively schedule workforce for ongoing projects, assessing requirements based on costs, project timelines, and schedules.
• Understand and oversee budgets, prepare job cost tracking reports, and incorporate change orders as necessary.
• Ensure timely and precise billing, anticipating and including materials and equipment not yet invoiced by suppliers.
• Adhere to established procedures for reviewing and submitting timecards for weekly payroll, ensuring approval from field leaders.
• Regularly assess cost-to-complete and work-in-progress reports, discussing forecasts and outcomes with field leaders and updating estimates monthly.

• Coordinate change proposals, review pricing and presentations, submit change orders within contract timelines, and monitor change order logs for necessary actions.

• Review and submit operation and maintenance documents, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of record drawings, and facilitate timely submissions.

Qualifications:


• Minimum of 5 years in project management within the commercial construction sector, with experience in service and tenant improvements being advantageous.

• Background in electrical apprenticeship, journeyman roles, project foreman, or similar positions.
• Proficient in management, financial analysis, and the MS Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality.
