Job Summary:

PrideStaff is seeking a highly experienced CPA to join our team as a Tax Manager. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for leading tax projects, managing client relationships, and providing expert tax advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead tax projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Manage client relationships, building trust and providing exceptional service
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising clients on best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license
  • 5-7 years of recent public accounting tax experience, progressing in scope and responsibility
  • Prior experience reviewing business and individual income tax returns, as well as consulting with clients directly
  • Ability to analyze transactions and develop tax structure and planning suggestions
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, supervisory, client service, and computer skills, including accounting software proficiency
  • Leadership presence to manage client tax and consulting projects, and collaborate with team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related experience in the real estate and construction industries
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
