About the Role

Florence is a leading provider of software solutions for the clinical trials industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team and drive growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a deep understanding of Florence's SiteLink solution and its value proposition for sponsors and CROs.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new global large pharma and CRO strategic accounts.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers and achieve annual bookings targets.
  • Prospect and secure meetings with key stakeholders at top 100 CRO/Sponsor global accounts to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Florence's solutions.
  • Establish relationships with executive-level decision-makers across departments in clinical operations, innovation, drug development, procurement, and information management.
  • Motivate operational change at client sites through ROI models, current/state future state maps, and case studies.
  • Maintain accurate meeting notes, pipeline, forecast, quarterly business reviews, mutual action close plans, and MEDDIC reviews.
  • Design and implement strategies to drive growth at secured accounts by implementing SiteLink on all future studies.
  • Partner with Florence's implementation, customer success, product, development, and other functional teams to manage flawless delivery and scale the business through high customer satisfaction.
