Position Summary:
This position is accountable for spearheading a high-performing team, facilitating the digital evolution of procurement and supply chain methodologies, and guaranteeing effective project delivery through robust performance oversight. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and procurement management, demonstrating a proven capacity to collaborate with international teams. They will play a crucial role in formulating and executing procurement strategies, overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO), and fostering ongoing enhancements in operational processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish performance management frameworks, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and dashboards are regularly updated in line with project execution. Experience in a matrixed environment and managing senior stakeholders on a global scale is preferred.
- Lead a high-achieving team, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver executive summaries to senior management and business unit teams.
- Guide the creation of robust business cases, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, budgets, quality, and critical activities meet expectations and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) team to meet project deadlines. Direct the Procurement & Supply Chain PMO in coordinating and prioritizing major capability developments, working closely with Strategic Sourcing, Centers of Excellence, and Field/Corporate Procurement.
- Champion the digital transformation of procurement and supply chain planning tools and processes, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, and a continuous strategic focus on customer satisfaction.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the PSM Team, aiding business decisions to maximize financial outcomes and establish effective business structures and controls.
- Facilitate collaboration among the PSM senior leadership team to create and implement the vision and key actions associated with the procurement strategy.
- Drive the execution of continuous improvement initiatives, translating strategies into actionable projects.
- Identify performance gaps and opportunities, developing innovative strategies and initiatives to address them, leveraging external insights for complex problem-solving.
- Oversee PMO activities, including savings, business processes, and procurement tools.
- Conduct savings cost analysis and collaborate with the Finance team on project cost evaluations, supporting the Change Management Stream, and participating in governance meetings.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of global projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate intricate matters proficiently across all business levels.
- Optimize the utilization of procurement tools, implement a procurement governance framework, and establish and communicate policies and procedures to standardize and enhance purchasing efficiency.
- Be accountable for the PSM scorecard, which includes gathering, modeling, and KPI reporting, while collaborating with the three PSM pillars to ensure progress on their KPIs.
- Engage in procurement-related budgeting and support other departmental requirements, such as presentations to the Leadership Team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt with a strong analytical mindset and project management experience.
- Certifications in Project Management and Change Management are essential.
- In-depth understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, practices, and the value of procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SAP, Oracle, and Ariba.
- Excellent grasp of multi-step strategic sourcing processes and methodologies.
- Proven excellence in managing internal clients, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to evolving business needs and priorities.
- 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, centers of excellence, and procurement management.
- Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems is required.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and PMO, focusing on identifying and driving change and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Strong influencing skills to align others toward a common objective. Proven leadership and collaboration abilities to build and maintain trusted relationships with leadership and peers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives.
- A flexible, dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive individual with a strong ability to inspire themselves.
- Ability to think strategically and shape the organization's future state strategy.
- Strong business acumen, with the capability to understand challenges from the perspective of business leaders.
- Transformational leader with experience and knowledge in the elevator industry or similar sectors.
- Agile and strategic leader with a proven track record of results and collaboration across multiple business functions, leveraging facts and data to influence decisions.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results.
- Proven track record in leading procurement organizations and transformations.
- Experience in the OEM elevator industry or similar business is preferred.
