Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at Steel Dynamics, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and revenue. This role requires a self-sufficient and innovative individual who can work independently to execute sales strategies and achieve personal goals that align with the company's divisional strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Building strong relationships with contacts at all levels across various functions within customer organizations
• Understanding the goals and concepts of our business and incorporating these goals daily to achieve sales and profitability targets
• Working closely with the sales and operations teams to creatively achieve both company and customer objectives
• Providing market intelligence to the sales team to help shape sales strategies, price, and inventory levels
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue from customers by selling value-added products to enhance market share
Requirements:
• Sales experience with a strong business acumen and excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships quickly
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work well and excel within a team or individually
Preferred Qualifications:
• Multiple years of field or territory management experience
• Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel
• Outside sales or travel experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Flexibility to relocate in the future
