Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Overview

Brief Job Summary:

Maintain and expand customer relationships to achieve sales goals aligned with the company's divisional strategy. Foster deep connections with customers to execute personal sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Understand the company's business goals and incorporate them into daily activities to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to creatively achieve company and customer objectives.
  • Keep customers informed about industry trends to demonstrate the company's ability to assist customers in adapting to change.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide market intelligence to the sales team to inform sales strategies, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue from customers by selling value-added products to enhance market share.
  • Manage accounts, including understanding margin analysis, competitive market information, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute sales and commercial programs to drive growth and revenue.
  • Travel frequently, with overnight stays required.

Qualifications:

  • Sales experience.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Assertive and confident, with the ability to ask for orders and demand mutual respect while maintaining humility.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for math.
  • Ability to work well and excel within a team or individually.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of field or territory management experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel.
  • Outside sales or travel experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Flexibility to relocate in the future.
