Role Summary:
The position necessitates proficiency in navigating a multifaceted and diverse international environment with various currencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Data Maintenance function, concentrating on vital operational metrics such as turnaround time, SLA tracking, and employee productivity.
  • Manage a geographically dispersed Data Maintenance team to ensure a uniform approach to queue management, workload assessment, backlog resolution, and escalation handling.
  • Lead a global initiative aimed at onboarding suppliers onto the Ariba Network, encompassing the completion of setup tasks and achieving high adoption rates within Visa's supplier ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts and finance leaders to continuously refine key processes, focusing on reducing SLA times, automating processes, and implementing enhancements critical for managing the rapidly growing business activities.
  • Prepare and analyze global metrics, leveraging data to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and initiate improvements.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal audits and SOX testing and validation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through methodical and pragmatic approaches, including the automation of manual processes and standardization of business practices, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Enhance team performance to meet "Best in Class" standards by boosting employee engagement and establishing clear accountability.
  • Develop effective succession planning and strategic resource allocation while emphasizing employee career advancement.

Work Environment:
This role operates in a hybrid setting, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to be present in the office 2-3 days a week, as determined by leadership and site requirements.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience managing the Procure to Pay process, including due diligence and handling large data volumes.
• Proven experience leading a finance team in a multinational commercial environment.
• Strong background in managing internal and external audits.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, collaborate across various functional groups, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strategic thinker capable of supporting business objectives while balancing risk and reward.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Oracle Financials, Service Now, and SAP products like Ariba and Concur.
• Familiarity with the payment industry.
• Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to drive and support change.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building cross-functional relationships and engaging with senior management.
• Customer-focused and driven, with a capacity to lead by example.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: This position may require travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: The role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and operate standard office equipment.
