Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide a team of risk analysts, ensuring the proficient identification, evaluation, and management of risks throughout the organization.
  • Design and execute risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and compliance-related risks.
  • Perform comprehensive risk evaluations, including scenario planning, stress testing, and quantitative analysis, to assess potential impacts on the organization.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-departmental teams to weave risk management practices into business operations and decision-making.
  • Track emerging risks, industry developments, and regulatory shifts to proactively mitigate potential threats to the organization.
  • Compile and present detailed risk analysis reports to senior management, emphasizing critical risks, trends, and suggested mitigation approaches.
  • Ensure the precision and reliability of risk data, overseeing the creation of risk reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Offer strategic insights and recommendations to enhance the organization's overall risk management capabilities and resilience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) are highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment techniques, quantitative analysis, and risk modeling methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and nurturing talent.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in conducting sophisticated risk evaluations and scenario planning.
  • Advanced communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex risk information to senior management and non-technical audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and best practices in risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a dynamic environment, with a strategic and proactive mindset.
