We are currently seeking a Head of Risk Management who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization’s personnel, assets, and operational processes. This individual will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and serving as the primary contact for legal counsel, insurance providers, and stakeholders. The role encompasses oversight of the Safety, Security, Claims, Cyber Risk, and Insurance divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement risk management initiatives to protect the company’s reputation, safety, and operational integrity.
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations, gathering and analyzing relevant documentation, statistics, reports, and market insights.
  • Develop new or enhance existing risk management frameworks, including insurance policies, safety protocols, and business continuity plans.
  • Establish strategic objectives and operational goals for the department.
  • Oversee the Safety, Security, Claims, Cyber Risk, and Insurance teams.
  • Coordinate with legal representatives, insurance firms, and other relevant parties.
  • Investigate incidents that may lead to asset loss.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive risk assessments and proposals to executive leadership.
  • Foster a company-wide understanding of risk management principles and practices.
Essential Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management policies and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of legal implications related to organizational liability and current insurance trends.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in program management.
  • At least five years of experience in a managerial role.
Compensation: $120-$175k annually, inclusive of comprehensive benefits.
