Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Treasury Lead to become a vital part of our finance department. In this role, you will oversee the management of the organization’s liquidity, cash flow, banking partnerships, and strategies for financial risk management. Your contributions will be essential in optimizing the use of financial resources while ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Management:
    • Project daily and long-term cash needs to guarantee sufficient liquidity for operational activities.
    • Supervise cash balances and manage cash positioning and funding operations.
  2. Banking and Financial Relationships:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with banking institutions and financial entities.
    • Negotiate terms for banking services and fees, encompassing credit facilities, cash management solutions, and foreign exchange dealings.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and manage financial risks, such as interest rate fluctuations, foreign exchange volatility, and credit exposure.
    • Formulate and execute hedging strategies to alleviate financial risks.
  4. Investment Oversight:
    • Administer the organization’s investment portfolio to maximize returns on surplus cash.
    • Assess investment opportunities and propose strategic investment approaches.
  5. Debt Oversight:
    • Track and manage debt levels, ensuring compliance with debt covenants.
    • Coordinate debt financing efforts, including the issuance and repayment of debt instruments.
  6. Treasury Operations:
    • Direct treasury operations, including cash reconciliations, bank account management, and treasury reporting.
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
  7. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and evaluate treasury-related reports, metrics, and KPIs for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Deliver insights and recommendations based on financial evaluations.
  8. Compliance and Controls:
    • Guarantee compliance with financial regulations and internal policies concerning treasury activities.
    • Assist in internal and external audits related to treasury functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is preferred.
  • X+ years of experience in treasury management, cash management, and financial risk oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, banking practices, and treasury operations.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and treasury management systems (TMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
