Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Facilitate open enrollment periods and communicate benefit options to staff.
  • Process enrollments, modifications, and terminations within the HRIS system.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address benefit-related inquiries and ensure accurate billing.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to suggest enhancements to benefit programs.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions and provide guidance on available options.
  • Generate reports and analyze data concerning employee benefits usage and expenses.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles related to employee benefits.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Understanding of journal entries, corporate accounting, technical accounting, payroll, and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

$60,000 - $65,000 per year

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
