Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and process accurate payroll records for all employees.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
  • Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts.
  • Perform data entry for new hires, terminations, and employee modifications.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to verify employee information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting.
  • Stay informed on updates in payroll legislation and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and practices.
  • Proficient in data entry with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software such as Paychex, Ceridian, Workday, or Kronos.
  • Ability to analyze financial concepts related to payroll.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: Onsite
