Job Overview

Position Summary:

Chariot Logistics Inc is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Carrier Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be a driven and positive individual eager to assist clients in efficiently managing their inventory through effective logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee Over the Road freight shipments
  • Negotiate freight rates with carriers
  • Evaluate and qualify potential carriers
  • Monitor and track shipments in transit
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from carriers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the 3PL sector or freight brokerage is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Capable of working independently while fostering a collaborative team spirit
  • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic setting with shifting priorities
