About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Booker to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of North Palm Beach. As a Service Booker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, ensuring that repair orders are accurate and complete, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Repair Order Management: Ensure that repair orders are accurate and complete according to Mercedes-Benz and dealership standards. This includes verifying flagged technician labor hours and comments, ensuring all parts, labor, and other charges are billed correctly with 100% accuracy, and verifying that all required manufacturer, state, and dealership documentation is included on every repair order.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Monitor all comebacks and relevant Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and provide accurate reports as required by dealership management and proactively communicate any potential issues with a plan to mitigate any errors to ensure the best possible outcome for the dealership and customer.
- Training and Development: Complete any needed manufacturer training and/or certifications to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Booker.
- Knowledge and Skills: Must possess working knowledge of automotive parts, diagnostic procedures, repair procedures, and general vehicle knowledge. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also essential.
- Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle.
- Personal Qualities: Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity, and maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct.
