Key Responsibilities

The Chief Imaging Officer will oversee the strategic direction, operational management, financial performance, and human resource development for all imaging services within the organization. This role involves collaboration with physicians and administrative leaders to establish and implement policies, procedures, budgets, and marketing strategies while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, quality, and safety.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction and operational management for imaging workflows, ensuring efficient throughput, image acquisition, and distribution across all services.
  • Driving growth and quality improvements in imaging services, executing business strategies to enhance performance metrics and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Achieving short and long-term objectives in alignment with established plans and budgets, while developing actionable strategies to mobilize teams and enhance service delivery.
  • Serving as the primary contact for national imaging initiatives, focusing on optimizing service utilization and cost management.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while enhancing patient access, experience, safety, and overall service line cost management.
  • Fostering partnerships within the organization to better integrate imaging services and promote clinical development.
Work Complexity

This role requires strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 4 years in a leadership or management capacity.

Alternatively:

  • 7 years of experience in imaging services is required.
  • 10 years of experience is preferred, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
