Salary Range: $122,000 - $183,955.20 per year

Job Overview:

Under the strategic guidance of the Airport Director, the Chief Financial Officer will function as the Deputy Director of Finance, assuming responsibility for the financial and administrative operations of the airport. This role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities including finance and accounting, fiscal management analysis, strategic planning, internal audits, investment oversight, debt management, budgeting, and other related activities.

The CFO will act as the steward of all airport assets, funds, and securities, providing leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals including managers, accountants, and additional staff members. This position will also involve identifying potential funding sources for various projects and monitoring funding levels to ensure alignment with budgeted activities and future project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Development of Capital and Operating Budgets - Collaborate with leadership and county personnel to establish financial priorities as determined by the Airport Director and department.

2. Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

3. Conduct internal audits and provide insights for financial improvements.

4. Manage investments and debt to optimize financial performance.

5. Guide and support a professional team in achieving departmental goals.
