Role Overview: Senior Director of Sales Operations

As a seasoned and data-oriented leader in Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing sales processes and driving revenue growth while improving customer satisfaction. This position requires collaboration with various departments to streamline go-to-market strategies and support customer engagement throughout their journey. Key responsibilities include managing the sales technology ecosystem, analyzing sales data, and facilitating sales enablement initiatives, with a strong emphasis on annual strategic planning. You will act as a strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, proactively addressing business needs. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and develop a nascent operations team and shape the operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Driving a proactive sales culture by developing and executing the global sales operations strategy, including quarterly planning, resource allocation, and operational roadmap development.
  2. Collaborating with Sales and Finance leaders on compensation structures, territory assignments, quota development, and operational reporting.
  3. Partnering with global sales leadership to enhance sales forecasting and opportunity management.
  4. Ensuring effective delivery of sales training across all levels of the sales organization.
  5. Optimizing the sales technology stack, including the implementation and selection of new tools.
  6. Managing systems administration tasks such as report generation, process optimization, and CRM data integrity, including platforms like Salesforce, Clari, and Gong.
  7. Working with Marketing and Business Development to establish reliable processes for lead generation and maintain data integrity within Salesforce and related systems.
  8. Coordinating with IT teams to uphold system security and data protection.
  9. Building strong relationships with key management personnel to foster collaboration across various departments, including Professional Services, Channels & Alliances, Renewals, Product Management, and People Operations.
Qualifications:
  1. Over 7 years of experience in managing sales operations, analytics, and enablement within a SaaS environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of sales segmentation, territory planning, quota setting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  3. Proven ability to translate high-level sales strategies into actionable operational practices.
  4. Experience in implementing consistent operational sales practices with a customer-centric focus.
  5. Strong familiarity with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
  6. Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  7. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as technical, finance, or business.
