Job Summary:

The Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations is a key leadership role at Gulfeagle Supply, responsible for guiding sales personnel, providing sales and management support, developing business opportunities, overseeing division operations, and managing regional and branch managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales:
    • Oversee sales training programs, including G-Force and Rainmakers, and develop future programs.
    • Ensure proper branch and regional quarterly meetings are taking place.
    • Work with the team to recruit and select sales and management personnel.
    • Directly work with and travel with territory managers and customer service/sales managers to enhance their sales techniques and understanding of the sales process.
    • Assess and make recommendations for changes to improve sales performance.
    • Monitor sales force and create and implement methods, programs, and incentives to achieve sales goals.
    • Support sales and commercial sales teams in securing sales and large commercial jobs.
  • Operations:
    • Work directly with regional and branch managers to elevate their skills and assess their abilities for future company needs.
    • Develop managers and others through training programs, such as the Management Training Program.
    • Review profit and loss statements with managers to take corrective action.
    • Review the Regional Managers Field Checklist, due once per quarter.
    • Develop relationships with upper vendor management and participate in vendor rebate programs.
Requirements:
  • Well-organized person with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a management role in the roofing supply business.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise, and communicate effectively with subordinates.
  • Demonstrated product and industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
