Position Overview:

Join a dynamic team where you can make a difference in customers' lives by helping them find the right products and solutions. As a Retail Sales Associate at Batteries Plus Bulbs, you will engage with customers in a friendly environment, providing exceptional service and expert advice.

Compensation:

Earn between $21 - $25 per hour with a combination of base pay and commission. Our compensation structure includes a guaranteed minimum hourly wage for the initial training period, ensuring you have the support needed to succeed.

Weekend Shift Incentives:

Enjoy additional earnings with a $2 per hour increase for weekend shifts and a $3 per hour boost for overtime during weekends.

Training and Development:

No prior experience with our products is necessary. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel in customer service and sales. Expect dedicated one-on-one training for the first few weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and identifying their needs.
  • Provide complete solutions by utilizing our product knowledge.
  • Process sales transactions using our technology-based Point of Sale system.
  • Assist with inbound phone sales and service inquiries.
  • Install batteries in various devices and perform repairs on consumer electronics.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales goals.

Merchandising and Inventory Management:

  • Maintain stock levels and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Prepare displays to promote seasonal products effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
  • Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with patience and professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Associates will also use various tools and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
