Position Overview:

The Haskell Company is in search of a Project Engineer - Civil. In this role, you will be entrusted with the design and execution of innovative, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in project strategy discussions, develop design concepts, and provide recommendations for systems and specifications.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, ordinances, and standards.
  • Oversee the technical contributions of junior engineers, designers, and interns involved in the project.
  • Establish the foundational design criteria for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion control.
  • Generate detailed stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports.
  • Support Construction Project Managers and subcontractors in interpreting construction documents and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in civil engineering design.

Essential Skills and Certifications:

  • Active Professional Engineer license.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (latest version).
  • Experience with stormwater hydrologic and hydraulic design software.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform ordinary ambulatory skills, including standing, walking, and lifting light to medium weights. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential for operating equipment and completing tasks.
