Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Engineers at PEC are involved in various areas such as Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system design, system selection, client collaboration, and infrastructure design, including central steam, heating water, and chilled water systems.
  • Design and engineer HVAC and plumbing systems tailored to project specifications.
  • Oversee the production of construction documents and manage construction administration for assigned projects.
  • Conduct evaluations of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to clients effectively.
  • Engage in client meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Facilitate project development and management activities.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements for various projects.
  • Work closely with design and drafting teams to meet production deadlines and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in mechanical design for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Licensed as a professional engineer.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficient in managing multiple project assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience with Revit is highly desirable.
