Job Overview


The Food and Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house activities across a restaurant and several quick-service restaurant (QSR) locations within Eataly. This role involves collaboration with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, as well as QSR staff.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Store Operations Manager and manages a team that includes Restaurant Managers, Junior Beverage Managers, and QSR Managers.

Key Responsibilities


1. **Operational Leadership**: Directs restaurant operations to enhance profitability while maintaining the company's mission, values, policies, and quality standards for guest experiences.

2. **Team Development**: Establishes departmental objectives and leads a team of managers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary training and motivation to meet operational demands and foster collaboration across departments.

3. **Human Resources Management**: Assists in the hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of employees, as well as managing payroll and terminations when necessary.

4. **Hands-On Management**: Actively engages in daily operations, demonstrating a willingness to participate in all aspects of the business.

5. **Strategic Execution**: Implements pricing strategies, merchandising, and promotional activities aimed at improving efficiency and boosting sales.

Inventory Management


6. **Procurement Oversight**: Estimates food and beverage requirements, manages requisitions, and ensures that all orders meet specified standards. Collaborates with the Fulfillment Operations Manager to oversee inter-store procurement initiatives.

Reporting and Collaboration


7. **Performance Reporting**: Prepares weekly reports on front-of-house, beverage, and QSR operations, working closely with corporate and senior leadership to align on goals and activities.

Incident Management


8. **Issue Resolution**: Documents, investigates, and resolves incidents involving employees and guests.

Additional Duties


9. **Other Responsibilities**: Performs additional tasks as assigned or required.

Compensation


This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $82,000.
