Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food and beverage operations, adhering to budgets, hiring and training staff, and handling customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Design and implement menus that are delicious, attractive, and aligned with our brand standards.
- Inventory Management: Forecast, plan, source, and order food supplies and beverages to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with food and beverage vendors to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
- Financial Management: Adhere to the food and beverage budget and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Operations Management: Manage daily food and beverage operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all food and beverage operations are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Maintain positive customer relationships, process complaints, and respond to customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing Events: Assist with marketing events and promotions to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage food and beverage staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food and beverage operations.
- Education: Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of the food industry, strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software, exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Abilities: Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets, ability to forecast food and beverage needs, excellent customer service skills, and great delegation skills.
