As a Healthcare Market Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the commercialization of a diverse range of innovations by supporting market intelligence initiatives aimed at evaluating the feasibility of new medical technologies within a multidisciplinary team.

The primary emphasis of this role will be on biopharmaceutical therapeutics and diagnostic innovations.


The ideal candidate possesses:


- A minimum of three years of experience in one or more of the following domains: healthcare market analysis, financial evaluation, business modeling, or technology commercialization. An advanced degree may compensate for up to two years of this experience.


- Familiarity with the healthcare sector, including industry regulations and trends.


- Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL) is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:


- Assist in the commercialization of a broad portfolio of innovations by supporting market intelligence activities focused on evaluating the feasibility of new medical technologies.


- Conduct market research studies to deliver timely and accurate insights for assessing business opportunities across a wide array of intellectual property.


- Gather, compile, and analyze data from primary and secondary sources to develop sales models, target market profiles, demographic and epidemiological models, competitive technology assessments, pricing and reimbursement analyses, and investment benchmark evaluations.


- Perform prior art searches and patentability evaluations.


- Prepare reports, presentations, and informational briefs to convey market research findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.


- Engage in strategic planning efforts and support operational decision-making for portfolio technologies and companies.


- Undertake additional duties as assigned.


Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Physical or Life Sciences, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate with limited supervision.


- Necessitates an understanding of specific needs and requirements to apply subject matter expertise.


- Must be capable of functioning in a high-pressure environment and taking appropriate actions.


Physical Requirements:
- Requires frequent sitting, normal or corrected vision, and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.


- Requires the ability to walk to various locations for meetings.


Personal Protective Equipment:
- Adheres to standard precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary.
Pay Range:


- Minimum hourly: $27.65


- Maximum hourly: $42.17

The displayed pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Compensation will be clarified by Cleveland Clinic recruiters.

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education.

This does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which encompasses healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
