CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Strategic Assistance: Support the Marketplace Lead in formulating the marketplace strategy and execution framework.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and sustain detailed marketplace-level dashboards and reports to communicate status, key performance indicators, and financial oversight.
  • Policy and Process Development: Aid in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of portfolio management policies, processes, and standards.
  • Project Oversight: Track and report on the advancement of multiple initiatives/projects.
  • Primary Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for assigned marketplace projects concerning scheduling and resource allocation challenges.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster communication across the strategy and execution team to ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Deliver analytical insights and evaluations to support informed decision-making by the Marketplace Lead and senior management.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate regular marketplace meetings and progress evaluations, ensuring effective communication.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or Agile) are preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data management practices and principles and their integration into portfolio management activities.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, JIRA, Planview.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy.
  • Big Data Concepts: Familiarity with Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data Management or Analytics Software: Proficiency in Informatica, IBM, Oracle.
