Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine cost accounting functions, including inventory assessment, calculation of cost of goods sold, and allocation of overhead expenses.
  • Perform comprehensive cost evaluations to pinpoint areas for cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in the budgeting cycle, which encompasses forecasting, variance examination, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the production team to analyze manufacturing costs and provide insights for financial enhancement.
  • Compile and deliver financial reports to upper management, ensuring clear and precise interpretations of intricate financial information.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in the finance of manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial analyst capacity, ideally within the manufacturing domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience in private equity is highly desirable.
  • A thorough comprehension of manufacturing processes and their financial ramifications.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data and providing sound recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. CMA or CPA certification is advantageous.
