Strategic Account Development Specialist

As a Strategic Account Development Specialist at Spectrum Enterprise, you will partner with government and education clients to highlight how our telecommunications products can resolve their complex technology needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated account management and proactively pursue new clients using email campaigns, cold calling, discovery calls, appointment setting, and client presentations.
- Travel and consult with established and prospective clients to develop product solutions.
- Navigate government and education procurement processes to set up successful sales.
- Deliver product proposals and presentations to decision-makers and conduct negotiations.
- Travel to client sites to manage field sales activities.
- Identify target markets, industries, and contacts to expand product portfolio.
- Encourage client retention through coordinated efforts with multiple internal teams.
What You'll Bring:
- Three or more years of sales experience as a proven sales performer.
- Three or more years of outside telecommunications-related sales experience.
- Network building, negotiation, closing, and interpersonal English communication skills.
- Quick learner, deadline-driven, and the ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in B2B sales selling data, voice, cloud, or video solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working with state and local government or education.
