Job Title: SAP Quality Assurance Lead - MM/LE/P2P

Work Type: Contract

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Duration: 10+ Months

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in relevant SAP functional domains to gather requirements, including Business Design Documents (BDDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), and Mapping Documents.
  • Assist in the creation of Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation.
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into Test Scenarios and Test Cases to facilitate Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Execute Test Scripts and evaluate results.
  • Ensure comprehensive end-to-end business process testing is conducted for designated process areas.
  • Aid in the preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Provide necessary information and support to the test manager during daily status meetings and in the preparation of Daily Status Reports.
  • Proactively identify and communicate any risks or issues to the test manager.
  • Log defects, assist in defect triage, conduct retests as necessary, and support timely resolution.
  • Utilize Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft).
  • Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely project deliverables.
Required Skills:
  • Over 10 years of experience in testing SAP applications, particularly SAP MM, along with integrations with SD, FICO, PP, etc., on both SAP ECC and S/4 HANA platforms.
  • Strong background in MM/Logistics Execution with at least 7-10 years of testing expertise and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business process flows and integration points.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Testing Lead role, particularly in ECC migration to S/4 HANA, with a solid understanding of automation tools and offshore/onsite delivery models.
  • Ability to comprehend configuration/ABAP code and identify root causes to assist in resolving bugs/defects.
  • At least 2-3 project experiences in S/4 HANA Testing, including ECC to S/4 HANA migration and S/4 HANA implementation projects.
  • Proficient in I-docs/EDI knowledge with third-party logistics (3PLs), carriers, and external partners.
  • Experience in reverse logistics.
  • Knowledge of the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process, along with experience in various Quality Assurance deliverables.
  • Proven experience working with Project Managers to identify scope and develop Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
  • Experienced in collaborating with Business SMEs to understand requirements, develop Test Scenarios, Test Cases, execute tests, and analyze results.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/WorkSoft).
  • Strong communication skills and experience in client interactions.
  • Preferred certification in SAP or S/4 HANA SD.
  • Ability to work independently and onsite/remotely, with a willingness to travel for client engagements as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
  • Primary focus on SAP MM/LE/P2P with the capability to understand configurations and assist in troubleshooting issues/defects.
  • Secondary focus on SAP SD/O2C with the capability to understand configurations and assist in troubleshooting issues/defects.
  • Tertiary focus on SAP FICO/MM/SD with the capability to understand configurations and assist in troubleshooting issues/defects.
Additional Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the overall end-to-end QA STLC process, associated test phases, and deliverables.
Exposure to Automation Tools:
  • Familiarity with Test Automation Tools such as Worksoft Certify/TOSCA.
Experience Requirement:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
