In the role of Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electromechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include strategic oversight, process enhancement, and collaboration across departments to surpass industry benchmarks. You will spearhead quality initiatives, guide team members, and foster continuous improvement within the Quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Leadership:
    • Define and direct quality engineering strategies.
    • Guide and develop the quality engineering team towards excellence.
    • Provide mentorship to quality technicians at various levels.
  • Process Enhancement:
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in quality control processes.
    • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles for optimizing processes.
  • Product Quality Improvement:
    • Evaluate product design and manufacturing processes for quality enhancements.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold stringent quality standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to tackle quality issues.
    • Ensure the integration of quality measures throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulations.
    • Lead preparations for quality audits and responses.
  • Data-driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize statistical tools and data analysis for informed decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain detailed reports on quality metrics and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior quality engineering role.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with the assembly of electromechanical components.
  • Familiarity with automation equipment, including capital goods and industrial robotics.
  • Background in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and certifications.
