Cognizant Technology Solutions is in search of a SAP MM/P2P/LE Testing Lead (Onsite) to become part of our team of IT experts in a permanent capacity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) related to specific SAP functional areas to gather requirements, including BDDs, FDDs, TDDs, and Mapping Documents.
  • Assist in the creation of Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation.
  • Comprehend requirements and translate them into Test Scenarios and Test Cases to support Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Execute Test Scripts and analyze results effectively.
  • Ensure comprehensive end-to-end business process testing is conducted for relevant process areas.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Provide necessary information and support to the test manager during daily status meetings and in the preparation of Daily Status Reports.
  • Proactively communicate any risks or issues to the test manager.
  • Create defects, assist in defect triage, perform retests as required, and facilitate timely resolution.
  • Utilize Test Management (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft).
  • Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in testing SAP applications, specifically SAP MM/P2P/LE, along with integrations with FICO, SD, PP, etc., on both SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Strong background in MM with at least 7-10 years of testing expertise, possessing a complete understanding of end-to-end business process flows and integration points.
  • Ability to comprehend configuration/ABAP code and identify root causes to assist in resolving bugs/defects.
  • Capability to configure as required.
  • Experience in reverse engineering.
  • Familiarity with Test Management (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in at least 2-3 projects involving S/4 HANA Testing, particularly in ECC to S/4 HANA migration and implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process and various QA deliverables.
  • 3+ years of testing lead experience with ECC migration to S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in offshore/onsite delivery models.
  • Experience collaborating with Project Managers to identify scope and create Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
  • Experience working with Business SMEs to understand requirements, build Test Scenarios, Test Cases, execute tests, and analyze results.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in client interactions.
  • Preferred certification in SAP or S/4 HANA MM.
  • Ability to work independently, both onsite and remotely, with a willingness to travel for client engagements as necessary.
