Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in relevant SAP functional domains to gather requirements, including BDDs, FDDs, TDDs, and Mapping Documents.
  • Assist in the creation of Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation.
  • Comprehend requirements and translate them into Test Scenarios and Test Cases to facilitate Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Execute Test Scripts and analyze outcomes.
  • Ensure comprehensive end-to-end business process testing is conducted for the respective process areas.
  • Support the preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Provide necessary information and assistance to the test manager during daily status meetings and in the preparation of Daily Status Reports.
  • Proactively identify and communicate any risks or issues to the test manager.
  • Create Defects, assist in defect triage, perform retests as necessary, and facilitate timely resolution.
  • Utilize Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/Worksoft).
  • Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in testing SAP applications, particularly in SAP SD, along with integrations with MM, FICO, PP, etc., on both SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • At least 5 years of dedicated experience in SAP SD with a thorough understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) business process flows and integration points.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Test Lead in testing SAP applications.
  • Ability to comprehend configuration/ABAP code and identify root causes to assist in resolving bugs/defects.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA Testing, including participation in ECC to S/4 HANA migration projects and S/4 HANA implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) process and experience with various QA deliverables.
  • Proficient in collaborating with Project Managers to define scope and create Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
  • Experienced in working with Business SMEs to understand requirements, develop Test Scenarios, execute Test Cases, and analyze results.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/WorkSoft).
  • Strong communication skills and experience in client interactions.
  • Preferred: Certification in SAP or S/4 HANA SD.
  • Ability to work independently, both onsite and remotely, with a willingness to travel for client engagements as necessary.
