Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Team Member to join our organization.

Role Overview in the Return Material Authorization Division

This position serves as a liaison for RMAs, reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process all product returns and repairs efficiently.
  • Provide timely status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and document product inventory and backlog.
  • Maintain documentation and metrics for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate on-time shipments of replacements and repaired items.
  • Utilize the SAP system to oversee the return process.
  • Act as the primary contact for collaboration among manufacturing, sales, quality, and logistics teams.

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and adherence to deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accountability in problem resolution.
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong presentation capabilities across all organizational levels.
  • Understanding of cost accounting principles and standards.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Access.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems; experience with Visual is advantageous.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting across various organizational levels and locations.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an inventory analyst; cost accounting experience is highly preferred. Experience in manufacturing as a scheduler or planner is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to move arms, hands, and fingers effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently.
  • Ability to lift over 25 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to engage in phone conversations and use a computer for extended durations may be necessary.
