Overview
The Insurance Client Relations Manager will oversee accounts generating under $20,000 in revenue with minimal supervision.

This role involves crafting the insurance strategy, marketing the account to various insurance providers, presenting renewal options to clients, and addressing clients' daily service inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
FOR ACCOUNTS UNDER $20K in REVENUE
Manage renewals and new business opportunities.

Serve as the primary contact for clients, insurance carriers, and team members regarding accounts under $20,000 in revenue.

Request and follow up on renewal details from clients.
Design, market, and negotiate renewals and new business with insurance providers.
Prepare proposals and participate in client meetings to discuss renewal options.
Bind insurance terms as instructed by the client.
Deliver binders to clients promptly.

Provide daily service to clients by addressing inquiries about their insurance plans.
Inform clients and carriers of any necessary adjustments to their insurance coverage.

Oversee the administration of the insurance program, including:
- Endorsements
- Certificates of Insurance
- Invoices
- Account Receivables
- Finance Agreements
- Audits
- Automatic renewals

Maintain Client Information Updates in Sagitta.
Keep client files organized in IR.
Summarize and schedule insurance details.

FOR ACCOUNTS OVER $20K in REVENUE
Assist the Client Service Executive with renewals and new business.
Prepare requests for renewal information.
Update client information in Sagitta.
Complete Acord applications.
Compile Loss Summaries and Large Loss Reports.

Verify the accuracy of experience modification calculations from state rating agencies/bureaus.
Support the CSE in developing Stewardship and Renewal Strategies.
Manage the administration of the insurance program as previously outlined.
Assist the CSE in ensuring timely delivery of policies to clients.

Review policies as assigned by the Client Service Executive and provide feedback on any areas of concern.

Conduct periodic client visits with the Client Service Executive, actively participating in new business and renewal preparations.
Engage in PAR E&O Audits.
Skill Development

Enhance analytical, strategic, customer service, and communication skills necessary for advancement to Client Manager II or Client Service Executive roles.

Guide and mentor Client Administrators, Insurance Associates, and Client Service Trainees in the following tasks:
- Process routine administrative paperwork for new and renewal business, including:
- Data entry into systems
- Proposal printing
- Certificates of Insurance
- Initial policy checks and posting to Engage
- Invoices
- Finance Agreements
- Endorsements
- Audits

Conduct account reconciliations.
Request and review Loss Run and Claim Status Reports.
Prepare Summary of Insurance.
Utilize software like Intellicomp for experience modification projections.
Maintain organized client files.
Establish and nurture effective working relationships with Associates and clients.

Project Management
Ensure timely management of the renewal process.
Develop and implement a Client Service Plan.
Guarantee the timely execution of R&LA deliverables.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in World Class Client service is required; or a minimum of 3 years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities directly related to the duties mentioned above, including 2-3 years of daily World Class Client service.

Possess a valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license.

Advanced insurance designations relevant to the duties are strongly preferred, along with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Demonstrate exceptional performance in the current role if employed at Marsh & McLennan Agency.
Have a solid understanding of insurance terminology, the functions of an insurance brokerage, and various lines of Business Insurance.
Proficient in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to prioritize tasks, set and achieve goals, think logically to solve problems, and present results clearly and precisely in both oral and written communication.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to use a computer keyboard and remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and telephones.

Work is conducted in a standard office environment.
Occasional travel to client locations may be necessary, which could include overnight stays.
Individuals must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
The base salary range for this position is $56,400 to $120,500, determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
