Job Overview

MNTN is seeking a skilled Strategic Partner Development Manager to join our Customer Success team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong relationships with our strategic partners, ensuring mutual growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or a related role within the advertising technology industry. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust relationships with key partners, identifying and evaluating opportunities to expand our network and enhance service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including media agencies, technology providers, and measurement providers.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities within partner organizations to expand our network and enhance service offerings.
  • Craft compelling narratives and strategies to demonstrate how MNTN solves challenges for agency partners and their clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partner strategies and advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders and the MNTN leadership team.
  • Develop and execute joint marketing and promotional activities to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Gain a deep understanding of partner needs and position MNTN's platform and solutions effectively in the market.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategies.
  • Provide exceptional support and service to partners, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, identify opportunities, and align on future plans.
  • Represent MNTN at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and strengthen relationships with potential and existing partners.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or a related role within the advertising technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic partnerships with advertising agencies and/or large holding companies.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising technologies, including CTV, programmatic advertising, paid search, and paid social.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong client influence, consultative sales approach, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, both externally and internally.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and leveraging them to effectively track and forecast business activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance service and revenue objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of ownership.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
