**Position Summary**

The EFD Customer Service Specialist II is responsible for managing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Handle incoming customer calls with courtesy and professionalism.
  2. Investigate and respond to customer inquiries and concerns through various communication channels including phone, fax, mail, and email.
  3. Document and process customer changes accurately.
  4. Provide relevant technical and product-related information to customers.
  5. Research and resolve customer complaints and billing discrepancies.
  6. Follow up with customers as needed regarding their issues or orders.
  7. Gather customer feedback to enhance service quality.
  8. Communicate customer issues effectively to relevant internal teams.
  9. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in the database.
  10. Stay informed about products and services to assist customers effectively.
  11. Prepare necessary reports and correspondence.

**Additional Responsibilities**

Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

**Qualifications**

Basic knowledge of systems and procedures is required, typically gained through previous work experience or education. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary, and vocational or technical education may be beneficial.

**Education Requirements**

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

**Skills and Competencies**

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of leasing, insurance, and UCCs.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience with filing UCC continuations, assignments, and terminations.
  • Ability to review insurance certificates and their requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Basic accounting skills and clerical functions.
  • Effective communication with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills are a plus.
