**Position Summary**
The EFD Customer Service Specialist II is responsible for managing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Handle incoming customer calls with courtesy and professionalism.
- Investigate and respond to customer inquiries and concerns through various communication channels including phone, fax, mail, and email.
- Document and process customer changes accurately.
- Provide relevant technical and product-related information to customers.
- Research and resolve customer complaints and billing discrepancies.
- Follow up with customers as needed regarding their issues or orders.
- Gather customer feedback to enhance service quality.
- Communicate customer issues effectively to relevant internal teams.
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in the database.
- Stay informed about products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Prepare necessary reports and correspondence.
**Additional Responsibilities**
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
**Qualifications**
Basic knowledge of systems and procedures is required, typically gained through previous work experience or education. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary, and vocational or technical education may be beneficial.
**Education Requirements**
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understanding of leasing, insurance, and UCCs.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with filing UCC continuations, assignments, and terminations.
- Ability to review insurance certificates and their requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Basic accounting skills and clerical functions.
- Effective communication with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills are a plus.
