Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician Service Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing installed systems, including fire alarm, security, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including fire alarm and security systems
  • Install and program fire alarm, security, and access control system panels
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and district staff
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support outside of regular working hours
  • Train and mentor other team members on service procedures and best practices
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm and security systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification
  • Experience with CCTV and IT/IP networks
