Field Service Engineer II Role Overview

As a Field Service Engineer II at Applied Materials, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading our cutting-edge equipment at customer sites around the globe. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain leading-edge customer equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical issues and provide exceptional customer support
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical certification
  • 2-4 years of experience in semiconductor industry or equipment support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with valid driver's license and passport
