Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice
  • Check patients in and out for appointments, verifying all necessary documents and information
  • Answer phone calls and direct patients to the appropriate staff member or department
  • Accurately register patients and create patient accounts within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Schedule patient appointments for both new and existing patients, ensuring efficient use of provider time
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, including data entry, payment collection, and preparation of patient charts and documents
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic office support skills, including MS Office and data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred, but not required
