Medical Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Customer Service Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a Medical Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient registration and check-in processes.
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately and confidentially.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Handle billing inquiries, insurance claims, and assist with financial arrangements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with patients, their families, and fellow team members.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and privacy laws to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical front office or healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing processes.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
