We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Customer Service Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a Medical Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient registration and check-in processes.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately and confidentially.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Handle billing inquiries, insurance claims, and assist with financial arrangements.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with patients, their families, and fellow team members.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and privacy laws to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical front office or healthcare setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing processes.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
