Position Overview
As a Senior Scientist specializing in formulation development, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical advancements while designing and conducting laboratory experiments focused on small molecule formulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance in the design and execution of laboratory experiments aimed at developing small molecule formulations at various stages.
- Support strategic initiatives and ensure project milestones are met within designated timelines, balancing both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment, promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging.
- Continuously enhance your scientific and technical expertise, advocate for innovative project ideas, and serve as a mentor within the scientific community.

Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of chemical and material sciences, engineering principles, and the development of pharmaceutical dosage forms, particularly regarding the influence of physicochemical properties on formulation development and product quality.
- Proficient in laboratory-scale production techniques including tableting, granulation, blending, milling, spray drying, coating, and drying. Proven ability to address complex technical challenges and demonstrate leadership in a scientific context.
- Experience in developing small molecule formulations for clinical applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, coupled with a high degree of technical knowledge and creativity. Familiarity with cGMP regulations and relevant regulatory frameworks is essential. Demonstrated capability to apply scientific methodologies to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.

- Ability to engage and collaborate within a diverse, interdisciplinary team environment, fostering creative problem-solving and promoting diversity and inclusion.

- Proficient in analytical techniques such as PXRD, TGA, DSC, HPLC, GC, GC/MS, NMR, FTIR, and UV spectroscopy. Competent in standard software applications (MS Office Suite, ChemDraw, SciFinder, Statistical Design, ELNs).

- Educational background: PhD in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, materials science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or an MS with at least 10 years, or a BS with 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical development.
