Senior Director of Antibody Research and Development

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Director of Antibody Research and Development to join our team at Alloy Therapeutics. As a key member of our Antibody Discovery Services (ADS) team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading strategies for our antibody discovery initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive scientific direction and execution of monoclonal, bispecific, and TCRm discovery projects.
- Ensure the application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in antibody discovery projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate protein engineering and cutting-edge efforts efficiently into product offerings.
- Deliver efficient execution of partner projects, balancing quality, timelines, and costs, while ensuring successful completion of therapeutic discovery that meet our partners' objectives.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of scientists, inspiring and motivating them to achieve excellence.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders externally and internally, fostering productive interactions both upward and downward, and across teams at different sites.
Requirements
- PhD degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in antibody and early drug discovery and development.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing biologics discovery teams.
- Broad and deep experience with antibody discovery and engineering.
- Strong background in the design and optimization of antibody-based therapeutics.
- Proven track record of successful execution and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
