Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise, train, and coach personnel to ensure the effective delivery of academic guidance services.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate and oversee office operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement advising policies to support student success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with faculty and stakeholders to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and updates to staff to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality academic guidance services.
  • Data Analysis: Ensure data integrity and produce reports to inform decision-making.
  • Academic Advising: Perform academic advising as needed to support student success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Two years related work experience.
  • Skills: Interpersonal and communications skills, organizational and planning skills, supervision and leadership skills, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in software for spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Spanish-English bilingual skills.
  • Database Experience: Experience with student database systems.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a standard office environment.
  • Physical Demands: Perform various physical tasks; maintain workplace safety.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,665 - $69,582.
